    One day, AINA's Honorary Chairman, Seung-tae Kim, met a woman in her 70s who was suffering from arthritis in her fingers. Remarkably, when he saw her again a year later, her arthritis had completely vanished as if it had been washed away. After tracing the cause of this inexplicable recovery, he discovered that she had a daily routine of hiking and repeatedly tapping her hands on a Sawtooth Oak tree. He believed this repetitive action could be a key to understanding natural healing and began researching how to combine the energy of nature with alternative medicine. He then dedicated himself to scientifically approaching this natural "pulse energy" and working to develop it into a formal field of study.

    Establishing the Concept
    of 'Pulse Wave'

    After extensive research into the effects of natural rhythms on the human body, we developed a technology that systematically classifies and organizes low-frequency waves to be applied to the feet, one of the body's primary reflex zones. Based on this technology, the world's first 'Pulse Wave' medical device, the 'Pulsetron SS-2000,' was created.

    This medical device was featured in a paper titled "A Clinical Study on Foot Reflex Zone Stimulation in Diabetic Patients Using a Low-Frequency Therapy Device," published in the December 2004 issue of the Journal of Korean Oriental Medical Informatics. The study garnered significant attention from the academic community.

    Notably, this paper marked the first time the term 'Pulse Wave' was formally introduced in an academic context. Since then, the low-frequency pulse technology that implements the 'Pulse Wave' has established itself as AINA's signature core technology.

    Advocating for Disease Prevention in the 100-Year Life Era

    As a representative of the private sector, our founder attended the 57th National Agenda Meeting, a council of ministers and vice-ministers presided over by the President. At the meeting, he emphasized the importance of disease prevention in preparation for the "100-year life era." Furthermore, he proposed the research and development of healthcare solutions that can be easily used in daily life and discussed strategies to prepare for this new age of longevity, including government support for related industries. This very meeting became the genesis of AINA's establishment.

    Relocating Headquarters to Medi-City Daegu

    Medi-City Daegu is Korea's foremost medical city, leveraging its advanced medical infrastructure as a growth engine by fostering and developing the healthcare industry. Recognizing this promising environment, our company made the strategic decision to relocate our headquarters from Seoul to Daegu in 2010.

    This move served as a major stepping stone, enabling us to take a significant leap forward as a specialized healthcare company. Subsequently, we were selected as a 'Daegu Star Company' and have since been maximizing our research synergy by conducting joint R&D projects with various government research institutes.

    Developing 'Smartron', a New-Concept Healthcare Medical Device

    Through a government-sponsored R&D project, we successfully integrated low-frequency pulse technology with LED light therapy. Based on this technological fusion, we launched 'Smartron', a personal total healthcare device. This device was engineered to adapt medical equipment, traditionally confined to hospital use, for easy and effective application in the home.

    We have received numerous accolades, including a Gold Medal at the Seoul International Invention Fair, a Gold Medal at the Malaysia International Invention Exhibition, and a Special Award from the Taiwan Invention Promotion Association. In recognition of these contributions, we were also honored with the Prime Minister's Commendation on Invention Day.

    Expanding into 'Medivalley', the New Hub of Korea's Medical Industry

    A total of 4.6 trillion KRW has been invested in the Daegu-Gyeongbuk Medical Cluster, establishing core research facilities for new drug development, advanced medical devices, and clinical trials on its 1.03 million-square-meter site. The cluster continues to attract a steady stream of government-funded research institutions as well as medical corporations and laboratories. AINA relocated to its new headquarters within this dynamic environment in November 2017. By strengthening our product competitiveness and research infrastructure here, we are solidifying our path to becoming a top-tier global healthcare company.

WORD MARK

This wordmark is designed based on 'A', the first letter of the alphabet, and the character '人' (in), meaning person. It is an expression that reflects the company's humanistic philosophy of regarding people as the highest value. AINA contains the meaning of 'A of A's', the best of the best, and the will to 'create the world's leading company with people'.

BRAND COLOR

Vermilion Red, as the color of the sun that promotes the growth of life and its organic role, is the color of progress, signifying diffusion and expansion. In particular, this warm Red is like a blazing flame, so it was chosen with the greatest emphasis on the humanism of our brand philosophy—that is, the role of breathing vitality into people and the color image that symbolizes it.
